About Beyond the Hard Hat
Beyond The Hard Hat Inc. was founded in April 2024 and designed to support residents in the Metro Atlanta area (DeKalb County) pursue skilled trade professions as a pathway to a variety of opportunities including sustainable careers and long-term economic security.
Through collaborative partnerships with local school districts, trade organizations, and corporate sponsorships, Beyond The Hard Hat utilizes collective allegiances to align with our mission to educate, advocate, and mentor the next generation of skilled professionals.
WHAT WE LIKE TO CALL "BLUE COLLAR EXCELLENCE"
Skilled professions, historically referred to as "blue collar" jobs, are often perceived as a second-class profession when compared to their "white collar" counterparts. Cradled in the biases of cultural norms that equate success to office jobs, four-year college degrees and now social media fame, at Beyond The Hard Hat we are determined to give the blue collar industry its well-deserved spotlight and praise.
BLUE COLLAR EXCELLENCE celebrates the invaluable assets, successes, and instrumental contributions of skilled professionals. Often overlooked, but frankly the foundation of every global society, trade professions are essential to the economy and guarantee day-to-day living remains business as normal.
